Nathan Yaccino

The youngest member of Mission, Nathan’s musical journey took flight at the tender young age of 8, when mom and dad bought him his first drum kit for his birthday. Proving to be a quick study, he joined the Willow Creek Community Church music team just 2 years later. From playing at their mid-week services to performing in their annual student and children’s ministry conferences, Nate cut his musical teeth in a variety of professional-level settings – eventually graduating to higher-level gigs, both in the studio and traveling abroad.

It was also at Willow where Nathan met Jon. Serving together over the years, they struck up a friendship that was both music-related and personal. A few years later, when it came time for Mission to find a drummer, Nathan was an easy choice. Having helped Jon and the band record a live worship CD for The Church Of Wrigleyville, where Jon was on staff, he was an instantaneous fit. The rest – as they say – is history.

Aside from playing with Mission and finishing up school, Nathan spends most of his time working in a variety of studios in the Chicagoland area – not only as a musician, but also as an audio engineer and/or producer.
